Mini-UniPrep™
Disposable syringeless filters with PP housing and cap and PTFE coated silicone rubber septa for particle separation of low sample volumes. A filter membrane is housed at one end of a plunger, with a cap/septum on the other. By pressing the plunger through a liquid placed into the chamber, positive pressure forces the filtrate into the reservoir of the plunger.

By excluding large particles from a sample, the time required to process the mobile phase is shortened. Also, column life is extended by reducing contamination that ultimately causes clogging and back pressure build up.

Applications include: Routine HPLC/UHPLC analysis, composite assays, content uniformity, protein precipitation, solubility testing, dissolution testing, sample filtration, use with any compound that requires protection from light, such as catecholamines or vitamins.

These filters can be used either manually or with a compressor unit. Compressor units allow for processing of multiple samples, further reducing sample preparation time for chromatographic analysis.

PP for general filtration media-/solvent-based samples.
PTFE for aggressive samples, high chemical resistance membrane.
Regenerated cellulose and PVDF for aqueous/organic solvents - low non specific protein binding media.
Nylon for aqueous/organic samples in 3 to 10 pH range.
PES for biological samples requiring low protein binding media.
Depth PP for aqueous/organic solvents - high flow and loading capacity.
GMF for high particulate laden liquids.

Maximum operating temperature: 50 °C
