Whole blood, rheumatoid arthritis (RA)
Whole blood is used for researching the causes, diagnosis, supportive care and treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA). Treatment for RA has typically been immunosuppression. However, immunotherapies have proven effective and cell therapy applications may provide more hope for RA patients. Collected from IRB-consented donors diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis.

No pre-screening is done on fresh products, but donors are tested on day of collection for Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and HIV 1/2, HTLV-I/II, HIV-1/HCV/HBV nucleic acid, WNV nucleic acid, Trypanasoma cruzi and Syphilis.

Storage: Use immediately upon receipt.

Caution: Intended for research use only and not for direct therapeutic or diagnostic use in human or animals, or for further manufacturing of therapeutic products or devices.
