Zero air is commonly used as an oxidant for GC-FID or as a support gas for Total Hyrocarbon analysers. In both these examples it is important that the hydrocarbon level is minimised due to reduced maintenance (FID) or low baselines.

UHP Series

Parker Domnick Hunter zero air generators produce a continuous flow of clean dry air, with an ultra low residual hydrocarbon content of less than 0.05 ppm from an existing compressed air supply.
An interchangeable top panel allows for direct mounting to provide an all in one flame gas solution for GC-FID, FPD and NPD applications.
The generators can also be used to supply zero air to many additional applications. These include nebulisers and exhaust gas for LC/MS applications, zero gas and combustion gas for total hydrocarbon analysers and calibration/dilution gas for gas sensing equipment.
