Solid phase extraction (SPE) technology allows the selective extraction of analytes from complex as well as large volume types of sample prior to analysis by HPLC, UHPLC or GC.

LiChrolut®

LiChrolut solid phase extraction (SPE) cartridges and accessories are manufactured to the highest standards. All SPE cartridges are made of either polypropylene or glass. They are compatible with all automated SPE Instruments and robots. Three important criteria are carefully controlled:
- Batch-to-Batch reproducibility
- Elimination from fines
- Contamination – high purity sorbents and tubes are used and are pre-washed prior to packing ensuring contamination-free products

LiChrospher® ADS

Allows the direct extraction and enrichment of hydrophobic, low molecular analytes from untreated samples such as haemolysed blood, plasma, serum, milk, salivary fluid, fermentation broth, supernatants of cell cultures and tissue as well as food homogenates.
LiChrospher® ADS allows fully automated preparation of the sample prior to the analytes being separated in the column. This allows the untreated bio-fluid to be directly injected without negative effects on either the column or the results achieved.

Micro Extraction by Packed Sorbents (MEPS)

The MEPS product consists of two parts, the MEPS syringe and the MEPS Barrel Insert and Needle assembly (BIN).The MEPS approach to sample preparation is suitable for reverse phase, normal phase, mixed mode and ion exchange chemistry. As the MEPS BINs can be used for sample volumes as small as 10 µl, it makes them particularly well suited to on-line use with LC-MS analysis of volume limited sample.
- The BIN contains the SPE phase, and is built into the syringe needle
- Sample preparation for complex biological sample is readily adapted to MEPS and reduces the volume of sample and reagents required for extraction.
