HOW SHOULD THESE EMPTY CONTAINERS BE RETURNED?
We can only accept back bottles and drums that were originally sourced from VWR International. Bottles and drums to be collected must be empty and purged or vented.
Empty bottles and drums must be returned with
to clearly indicate they are non-hazardous. Bottles with caps on will be treated as hazardous waste and charged accordingly.
Unfortunately we cannot accept loose bottles. Please ensure that any empty containers booked for collection are ready at your normal delivery point when the vehicle arrives.
DUTY OF CARE: CONTROLLED WASTE TRANSFER NOTE
There are no changes to the requirements for Duty of Care: Controlled Waste Transfer Notes, in fact you will already be familiar with these documents if we currently collect empty containers from your site. Our carrier needs a Duty of Care in order to remove your empty bottles and drums. To obtain an annual Duty of Care declaration, please contact VWR’s Customer Service Centre on 0800 22 33 44 or email@example.com. Please provide a contact name, email address and collection address and we will send across the relevant Duty of Care paperwork for completion.
